Ex 31:3-6

3 And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,
4 to design artistic works, to work in gold, in silver, in bronze,
5 in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, and to work in all manner of workmanship.
6 And I, indeed I, have appointed with him Aholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and I have put wisdom in the hearts of all who are gifted artisans, that they may make all that I have commanded you: NKJV
God often talks in symbols and parables long after a prophecy or a thing has been done. These four scriptures contain treasures that I would like to examine with you. It has to do with leadership [the workman] and with each individual [the uncut diamond] contained in the body of Christ.

Before I became a leader, I was an uncut diamond, full of pride, ornery, rebellious, and stubborn. There was a constant need to be contrary to what was spoken. That was me just after I was saved.

As God molded my image into His image, carved the areas that were unimportant, and sanded the rough edges, I was offered the position as minister. Now, in keeping with MY former behavior, I didn't want to be minister, I wanted to have the office of prophet. This was because the pastor and his wife were grooming me for this position. So naturally, when the senior pastor announced that I was now his minister, I was really confused and frankly down right mad at his stupidity! Didn't he know that I was being groomed for the office of the prophet? Isn't he hooked up with the Spirit?

An observing woman say to me, as I murmured and complained of the unfairness of being a minister, 'but you like to minister to people'. Then it hit me, I sure do like to minister to people. And she reminded me that when I give prophecy, I often minister before or after it is given. I like to study to show myself approved, being detailed and seeing things differently than what most people do. All this adds up to the office of the minister. I am a teacher with a prophetic gifting. So I repented.

When I started operating in the office of the minister, I noticed that I had attracted a rebellious bunch of congregational members. Leaders often attract those people that you used to be when before you were saved. Who better to minister to someone than someone who has been there and done that and is now renewed and reformed from that behavior? Then a prophecy came forth that told me that I had a Moses anointing. After thanking the Lord for the prophecy, I got to thinkin', 'I don't want that anointing!' So I told the Lord to take it back.

You see, Moses never made it to the promised land. And that is all I could think of was that I would not make it to heaven. Then the Lord pointed out to me, that Moses was a type of deliverer, a forerunner to Jesus. He lead me to see a name in the bible called Mosheh (mo-sheh'), it is Moses in English. Mosheh is the same name my grandfather gave me when I was a baby. To this day, my relatives still call me this name. It means drawing out [of the water] or rescued.

This Moses anointing causes people to manifest around me. If you read Ecc. 3:18, you will know that God is actually in charge of you manifesting. Manifesting is giving a fleshy response to a pressurized situation. In this scripture, it says that God tests or manifests you so that you can see what beasts [demonic behavior] you have demonstrated. Without this knowledge, you can not repent of secret sin [generational sin]. And to this end, as people manifest around me, there is a rescuing taking place. I wait.

I wait until the Lord tells me to write or to speak. In the meantime, people have hated me, despised me, ridiculed me, lied upon me, complained and murmured about me to others and to God, and even worse some did not change, and remained as Pharaoh remained - hard-hearted. Then there are others, who like Joshua repent and get it right the first time.

These experiences are not usually revealed by a leader to the general population. Leaders don't share their experiences too readily because it reflects too much on them. However, I just wanted you to know from a leader's point of view how things happen to us, our responses, and our victories through our submission to God.

You see, before you can become a leader, you have to be uncut diamond. The workman is filled with the Spirit of God which gives wisdom, understanding, knowledge and all manner of workmanship to design artistic works, in gold, silver, in bronze, in cutting the jewels for setting, carving wood, and to work in all manner of workmanship for the holy temple. That temple is YOU.

YOU are the temple of the Holy Spirit with which your spirit man has now been sealed. The heart that needs to be shaped, molded, reformed, and changed by the working of the gold, silver, and bronze in the mind, will, and emotions. The jewel that is carved and set [established in the kingdom for the kingship] is also chipped [corrected] and cut [preaching the engrafted Word] with all the skills that God gives His leadership to perform. Notice that the jewel does not complain, but remains quiet, submissive, and obedient to the change which brings about the most magnificent display of God's precious treasure - YOU.

Remember, YOU are His special treasure, above all people [Exodus 19:5].
